Now that episode 75 of "Dragon Ball Super" has been served, the preview for its next episode has once again intrigued fans from all over. The sneak peek provided a glimpse of some of the gods, angels, and kaioshins that will take part in the looming multiverse tournament including a female fighter that caught most fans attention.
The preview showcased short bursts of clips on what will happen in the upcoming tournament. Avid viewers were surprised to see an upcoming character turned into a Super Saiyan. What made it more interesting is that it has a striking resemblance to the feared legendary Saiyan - Broly.
Some fans believe that the character was made to some sort of paying homage to the classic character antagonist that was first seen in "Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan" way back in 1993. Other fan theories suggest that this could also be a Broly from one of the participating universes in the tournament, Kotaku reported.
If such speculations fit in the bag, it is said that this will be the first time that the series will be having its first ever female Saiyan. In the meantime, fans should be taking this with grains of salt as it still lacks sauce onto it.
Meanwhile, the stage is now set literally for the aforementioned multiverse battle. In a recent issue of V-Jump magazine as cited by Comicbook, the publication posted an image of the arena that the fighters will be brawling on. Per the image, the stage resembles a massive Japanese top. There are designated spots for spectators and even for Omni King which is a small floating platform located on the other side of the arena.
Some avid followers, on the other hand, are musing as to who will be the final villain of the tournament and even the entire series. Rumor has it is that it is either the High Priest or Omni King could be the final enemy of the upcoming arc and that their evil intents are still hidden, though it is highly unlikely.
It is also theorized that another being higher than the gods or another Saiyan could be the main villain of the tournament. Moreover, the "Universal Survival" arc is speculated to be the final arc in the series. However, with the current success and the money that "Dragon Ball Super" is raking in, rumors about the show getting canned is far fetched.
Episode 76 of "Dragon Ball Super" will air this Jan. 29 on Fuji TV. In the meantime, watch a video about theories on who could be the possible main villain of the multiverse tournament:
