Samsung Galaxy S8's price and release date have leaked online and it is said to have an iris scanner plus Bixby, a Samsung's new digital assistant which will handle sophisticated commands. Samsung Galaxy S8, is however, not sounding to be a cheap gadget.
Samsung Galaxy S8, the successor to the award-winning Galaxy S7, is said to sport a dual-curved, bezel-less display, and larger battery cell. The iris scanner which also features will provide additional security.
South Korean multinational firm is expected to pull out all the stops for its highly anticipated flagship phone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 flagship was subject to a number of delays and followed the discontinuation of the Galaxy Note 7 last year, Express reported.
Samsung Galaxy S8 is set to debut on March 29, and as the day nears, a company insider revealed the pricing on some of the Galaxy S8 models. According to the tipster who revealed on Twitter, China and South Korea will only see the 6GB RAM+128GB ROM variant of the new phone with the Asian markets getting both 6GB RAM+64GB/128GB storage options.

In the third option of 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched for Europe and rest of the markets. Samsung S8 6GB RAM+64GB ROM model will be sold at 6,088 yuan (Rs 59,000 approx), while 6GB RAM+128GB ROM option will retail 6,488 yuan (Rs 63,000 approx).
According to the latest rumors, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be made available in two models, both with a dual-curved, edge-to-edge display. According to GSMArena, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will ship with a 3,250mAh battery and a large 5.8-inch Quad HD display, but maintain the same footprint as the Galaxy S7. Also expected is a 6.2-inch QHD AMOLED display model, with a 3,750mAh cell which is marketed as the Galaxy S8 Plus.
Comparing these display sizes and battery capacities for Samsung Galaxy S8 with those for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge last year, the former are both larger. Samsung will provide these larger displays by ending all physical buttons from the front of the device, replacing their functionality with on-screen navigation keys.
According to the tipster, who has released a slew of information around the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus over the last few weeks, those who go for the top-of-the-range model will not get much change from $1,000 - some £800 converted.The Galaxy S8 will be having a force touch functionality (like Apple iPhones) on the lower part of the display.
