Recently, two new LG phones have been spotted on GeekBench benchmarking site. The devices are said to be the high-end smartphones. One of these LG smartphones is said to be the alleged LG G6 that is heading towards U.S.carrier.
It was previously reported that a high-end device from LG is coming to U.S. cellular. According to GeekBench listing, the smartphone is equipped by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset.
The device with a model number LGUS997 (US-based) is equipped by 1.9 GHz MSM8996 chipset. It is not known whether this model features Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset as both chipsets are known as MSM8996. It is packed by a 4 GB of RAM and is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat.
LG's other phone spotted on Geekbench is bearing model number LGM-G600L. It includes the same features like the LGUS997 but has a different Geekbench score. Well in the coming weeks, we'll be hearing more from LG at MWC 2017, GSMArena reported. LG is all set to officially announce its new device LG G6 on Feb. 26, a day ahead of Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona.
LG G6 Specifications, Features
The LG G6 is said to come with always-on display feature, that includes the information about the date, time and notifications. It appears to have a bezel-less display with circular edges. LG confirmed that the phone's screen will be carrying aspect ratio of a 18:9.
It is rumored to sport a 5.7-inch screen with a quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The phone is likely to come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. It will be packed by a 4 GB of RAM and a 32 GB native storage. The smartphone is said to feature dual rear cameras. It will come equipped with a 3,200 mAh capacity battery and include fingerprint sensor, NDTV reported.
