Is Taylor Swift's doppelganger actually in Japan modelling for McDonald's?
Recently, an old Japanese McDonald's commercial has gone viral on YouTube after netizens noticed the model's uncanny resemblance with the "Style" singer.
The commercial for the McDonalds Tomato Burger (YUM) in Japan features Swift's lookalike with a red hair and an outfit with McDonald's trademark yellow and red colors.
Like Britney Spears, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, Swift has starred in a foreign commercial. However, it was not a Japanese McDonald's advert.
Recently, Swift appeared in a Toyota commercial in China featuring her song "Wildest Dreams" from her latest album "1989," which has spent 24 consecutive weeks in the top five of the Billboard 200.
Currently, "1989" is at number five while the "Furious 7" soundtrack album is at number one followed by All Time Low's "Future Hearts" at number two, the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" soundtrack album at number three and Maroon 5's "V" at number four.
Released in late 2014, "1989" is one of the only eight albums that appeared inside the top five of the Billboard 200 chart for 24 weeks straight. Chart-topping songs "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off" are from the album.
Recently, Swift was spotted buying "1989" on vinyl. On, April 18, Saturday, she bought her own album in celebration of Record Store Day. Later that day, she spotted wearing a pair of identical blazer and short in New York City grabbing a meal at the Spotted Pig. She met her friend Camila Cabello for dinner, according to Just Jared.
