The upcoming 24th episode of "The Big Bang Theory" will feature some of the biggest challenges Penny and Leonard and Sheldon and Amy would have to face.
On Thursday night's episode entitled, "The Commitment Determination," will feature Sheldon (Jim Parsons) wanting to take a leap of faith when it comes to his relationship with Amy (Mayim Bialik).
However, it seems that Amy would want a time-out in their relationship and Sheldon wouldn't be able to take it well, according to Venture Capital Post.
Other publications revealed that Amy will inform Sheldon of her decision to cool off with him only via Skype and although the latter is in shock, he will agree with Amy.
So does this mean that their relationship is bound to end for good?
Meanwhile, Sheldon will encourage Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) to pick out their wedding date, noting that they have been together for several years already.
Sheldon's urging would take a toll on the couple who would actually consider picking out a date. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not a wedding is bound to happen next season or not.
Additionally, there have been reports that the eighth season of "The Big Bang Theory" will end with a cliffhanger.
Series showrunner Steven Molaro told The Hollywood Reporter that the two sets of couples are in "two huge developments in the May 7 season finale. He also added that the series will indeed end with a cliffhanger.
"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays on CBS.
