A leaked video straight from the sets of "Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens" surfaced online showing Luke Skywalker.
The shots were taken apparenty by a mobile phone from the computer screen, which was running a scene titled as "Luke's Refuge."
The video, uploaded by an unknown source on YouTube, is now deleted and cannot be found anywhere on the net. Not only the video was deleted, the account which uploaded is also now mysteriously closed. However, Techno Buffalo was able to capture some screenshots, in which a cloaked figure can be seen clearly.
The video is said to be filmed on Skellig Michael, an island located off the south of Ireland, where the upcoming movie's director J.J. Abrams was reportedly shooting earlier this year. Back in August 2014, the lead cast members of the highly anticipated sci-fi film, Daisy Ridley and Mark Hamill, were spotted on the island to shoot some scenes.
Moreover, there was a Walt Disney watermark in the middle of the footage, which adds to the authenticity of the video, though a fake one can be superimposed too. The authenticity of the video is still under scrutiny as the production house has famously maintained high security at the set to avoid any leakouts.
The blurry video in question showed an apparently bearded man in a Jedi cloak kneeling inside a cave kind of thing while another man is standing at the door, casting a shadow over the former. As the video progressed, the same cloaked figure was seen in various shots roaming around the island in several spots.
The seventh instalment in the "Star Wars" series is set 30 years after the event of Return of the Jedi, Cinema Blend reported. It is highly speculated that Princess Leia's brother will go into hiding after his father Darth Vader's death and Ridley's character "Rey" will embark on a journey to find Jedi on a secluded planet that has been recreated in the remote island of Ireland.
The upcoming movie be released on Dec. 18 and will be the first one of the new trilogy of the franchise. Check out the trailer:
