Wideshow is a new app for iOS devices that gives its users an interactive way of presenting photos in a slideshow.
The app gives iOS users the ability to broadcast photos from their mobile devices directly into any device that has AirPlay compatibility. According to PetaPixel, the most popular device of choice for presentation is the Apple TV. Other compatible device includes the Fire TV from Amazon as well as Mac, Linux and Windows computers.
For Mac users, the AirServer application which allows AirPlay can be used.

The app can display photos on its original aspect ratio. It has a feature that shows on a map where the photo was taken as well as a thumbnail of the next photo in the presentation. Users also has the option to incorporate music to the presentation to a more personalized experience.
While photos are being presented on the screen, the user's iOS device can be used as a remote. This give users full control of the presentation allowing them to skip photos forward or backward as well play or pause the presentation.
