"Frozen 2" characters Anna and Kristoff may not end up together in the upcoming sequel, despite the latter obviously having feelings for the former.
According to iDigitalTimes, only Elsa will be able to save Anna in the upcoming installment and although Kristoff obviously likes the latter, it is impossible for them to end up together in "Frozen 2."
The publication noted that there is a possibility for Elsa to meet someone but debunked speculations that Elsa could be gay.
Although the film has been praised for being feminist and Elsa's character has been portrayed as someone who is different from everyone else because she possesses powers, there is no chance the Disney character could be portrayed as a lesbian.
Meanwhile, other than these speculations, there have also been reports that the actual storyline for "Frozen 2" is already in the works.
Disney and Pixar Animation Studios officer John Lassater has not yet disclosed details about the upcoming installment.
What has only been confirmed right now is the fact that Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel will reprise their roles by lending their voices to Elsa and Anna, Venture Capital Post reported.
The latter previously expressed her excitement over the sequel and said that she is also looking forward to the Broadway musical adaptation of "Frozen."
"I do not know if I feel like hitting that high note eight times a week," Menzel said. "But we will see. I would love to be a part of it. It is a great family of people, a great creative team, and you never know."
