Good news to waiting fans, "Fifty Shades of Grey" new book release is set on June 18 narrating the same story in Christian Grey's point of view that is reminiscent to Stephanie Meyer's "Midnight Sun".
The original "Fifty Shades of Grey" series was narrated based on the experiences of the female character, Anastacia Steele. The new book will offer fans a new experience of reading the erotic literature in the eyes of the male protagonist, Vintage Books, a division of Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group told Reuters.
The new book entitled "Grey" will be published on Christian Grey's birthday. Author E.L. James announced its release on Instagram after fans worldwide demanded a book with Christian's point of view.
In a press release from her publisher posted in James' blog, the author said, "Christian is a complex character and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story."
While FSOG fans rejoiced, many people were reminded of Meyer's unreleased book entitled "Midnight Sun". "Midnight Sun" is a book in "The Twilight Saga" narrating the events in the first book, "Twilight," based on Edward Cullen's perspective.
The book did not reached publication after the first twelve chapters of the book leaked on the Internet that made Meyer dropped writing the book. However, the book was used in filming the movie adaptation of "Twilight" to give director Catherine Hardwicke and actor Robert Pattinson ideas in portraying Edward's character in film.
"Fifty Shades of Grey" started as a fan fiction based on "Twilight" characters Edward Cullen and Bella Swan. "Fifty Shades of Grey" was adapted into R-rated film starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan. The sequels "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" are already planned.
