Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, reportedly got a $5 million paycheck for her upcoming docu-series "I Am Caitlyn."
The inside sources told Radar Online that E! has dropped a whopping amount of $5million to grab the new show that will chronicle Caitlyn's transition from man to woman. The network shelled the huge amount to stop the 65-year-old, who was apparently drifting away to other lucrative offers made by other channels.
The Jenner's agent gets the full credit for grabbing the huge paycheck. Reports state that TV personality's agent was adamant on an epic amount for the docu-series and was even in talks with other networks.
Caitlyn, who confirmed her gender identity on ABC's show "20/20," was approached by several channels, due to which E! offered her $5million. Earlier, the network was not ready to go beyond $2million, Page Six reported.
It was reported earlier that the former Olympian has spent close to $4 million in her transition from man to woman. The TV star, who had undergone a slew surgeries, including tracheal, two nose surgeries, hair removal and facial feminization surgery, spent about $81,000 to attain the present form.
Another $10000 was reportedly spent on the surgery for breast enhancement and $3.5 million for Caitlyn's new Malibu home, which was remodeled according to her feminine taste and style. Multiple sources have predicted earlier that Caitlyn will get better pay than what Bruce was earning, on witnessing the huge positive response she got on social media after the debut of her new identity on the cover of Vanity Fair.
The former athlete, who used to have cameo appearances in "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," now has her own solo show, set to premiere on July 26, and is expected to earn more through her motivational speeches and public apppearances as well.
