"The Incredibles 2" will reportedly feature Violet and Dash taking over their parents' mission. Director Brad Bird recently talks about the values of the characters in the movie and how they can serve as inspiration in real life.
According to Cross Map, Mr and Mrs Incredible will no longer be as active as they once were ten years ago on "The Incredibles." This does not mean though that their mission will not be completed in the sequel.
In the upcoming installment, Violet and Dash will be taking the baton from their parents. However, the publication noted that it will be their youngest sibling, Jack-Jack, that will become the superhero.
Meanwhile, Bird previously confirmed that he is already working on the script of "The Incredibles 2." However, he did not divulge a lot of details for fear that critics will judge the story immediately before even watching the film.
According to Flickering Myth, Bird is worried about how critics nowadays seem to be very negative whenever they review sequels. This is why the director said that he is working really hard to make sure the second installment will receive good reviews that it deserves.
Bird also revealed how much he loves all the characters featured in "The Incredibles 2." This is why he is willing to make mistakes during the process of conceptualizing and filming the movie, to make sure that when it is completed, it will be perfect.
"The Incredibles 2" will reportedly feature the voices of Holly Hunter as Elastigirl, Craig T. Nelson as Mr. Incredible, Sarah Vowell as Violet, Spencer Fox as Dash and more.
