Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are reportedly faking their relationship. It was said that "The Amazing Spider-Man" co-stars only got back together to promote her then upcoming film, "Aloha."
According to Radar Online, the timing of the couple's reconciliation had been dubious, given that they only reconnected by the time "Aloha" was coming out. Sources close to the couple revealed that Stone and Garfield have only been staying together for the sake of publicity.
It was also said that the couple do not live together anymore, which caused many fans to believe that they have already broken up. The source added that the two did not want their break up to upset their fans and have decided to keep it under wraps for the time being.
Meanwhile, according to Independent, Garfield wanted to give their relationship another shot. The actor was reportedly planning to move back to New York City so that he could keep a close eye on Stone. It was said that he had been concerned of her constant partying, which is something she had not before when they were still living together. Garfield allegedly believed that if they could relocate back to New York everything would return to normal.
Garfield and Stone's relationship was reportedly doomed from the very beginning, given that they had different personalities and goals in life. He, however, believed that they could still work things out.
The source claimed that Garfield thinks that being in a theater play together could remind the actress what she had been missing. It was said that he thought that working together could bring back happy memories of when they were filming "The Amazing Spider-Man."
