A new leak about the high-end Samsung Galaxy Note 5 came in the form of a video showcasing the rumored phablet's 3D model and renders.
According to GSM Arena, the video came from a well-known leaker using the Twitter handle @OnLeaks and adds that the information provided was 80 percent credible.
Based on the leaked renders, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has several design similarities with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The render shows the Galaxy Note 5 to have a flatter screen and the rear part curves toward the side edges.
Just like the Galaxy S6, the Galaxy Note 5 has a non-removable battery. Samsung did upgrade the battery's capacity to 4,100 mAh. On the left side of the device shows what appears to be a card slot. Tech analysts speculate that it might be a card slot or a SIM/microSD combo slot.
Contrary to previous rumors, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will sport a more traditional microUSB 2.0 rather than the new Type-C USB port.
The leaked renders also show a cut-out for the S-Pen and the design hints that it will be auto-ejectable. The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 dimension is estimated to be around 153.4 mm x 77.3 mm x 10.2 mm.
According to Forbes, Samsung might integrate its Pay service feature in its upcoming device especially with the success of Apple and Google's respective payment services.
Samsung also needs to work on its fingerprint scanner. The feature was introduced to the Note 4 but it did not work as intended. Samsung made some correction and finally addressed the problem on the Galaxy S6.
