Google Nexus 2015 smartphone release will reportedly happen in October and a new benchmark of the device showed some of the borrowed specs and features from LG G4.

Although it was previously reported that LG will not pattern the new Nexus smartphone to the previous LG Nexus 5 and LG G4, the new benchmark from Geekbench revealed that LG is taking some clues from LG's flagship smartphone.

According to the leaked benchmark, the new Nexus smartphone has a model number LG-F600L. Under the hood, the smartphone will pack Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm, which is the same processor used in LG G4. Several reports also claimed that the new Nexus handset will sport a 5-inch screen display, which users find comfortable to use.

Other reports claimed that the new Nexus smartphone will sport Snapdragon 808 chipset. However, LG has not confirmed which processor it will be using.

Another sure fire feature of LG-built Nexus 2015 smartphone is Android M. Google will roll out the Android M operating system in the fall. which coincides with Google Nexus 2015 release. Thus, it is most likely that Google Nexus 2015 will be the first smartphone to sport Android M OS.

Meanwhile, rumors claimed that Google Nexus 2015 release will take place in October showing off two versions of the smartphone with code name Bullhead and Angler. Several reports claimed that two smartphones will take center stage later this year. One is built by LG and another version by Huawei.

However, this should be taken as a grain of salt as Google has not confirmed the release and details of the upcoming smartphone yet.
