Soon after the country music superstar, Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert, announced their divorce, it is revealed that suspicion of infidelity has a major role to play in the break-up of their marriage.
It appears that divorce is filed by Shelton who suspected his 31-year-old wife is cheating on him from the past few weeks. A couple of weeks ago, the singer received a piece of information that ultimately confirmed his suspicion and he decided to end his marriage, TMZ reported.
The identity of the man with whom Lambert is said to be having an affair is still not known.
Back in 2013, Lambert was reportedly linked with the fellow country singer Chris Young as well. The pair was often spotted together, after which even Shelton reportedly started believing the rumors. The couple, however, managed to stay together at the time and the rumors soon died down.
Although Shelton and Lambert has declared an amicable divorce, reports stated that the singer is extremely upset over his wife's infidelity and told her to leave his ranch as soon as possible. The estranged couple reportedly has a pre-nup in place, according to which she will keep their marital home in Nashville while he will get to keep their Oklahoma ranch, Daily Mail reported.
Shelton and Lambert famously fell for each other during CMT's "100 Greatest Duets" special in 2005, although he was married at the time. Soon after his first divorce, he started dating the "Nashville Star" runner-up and eventually married her in 2010.
