Even lower HTC Nexus 9 tablet discount surfaced online that hinted the imminent Google Nexus 2015 release.
While HTC Nexus 9 tablet remained slightly $600 in Google Store and other retailers, Expansys USA now offers the Nexus 9 LTE for $340, which is nearly half of Google Play Store price. The same retailer previously offered the tablet for $380.
Meanwhile, Amazon also offers the same variant of Nexus 9 for $375.
This is not the first time that HTC Nexus 9 tablet received such generous discounts. Last month, the device was offered for less.
Since rumors claimed that Google has no plans to release a new tablet this year, the price cut on Nexus 9 slate hinted that the next Google Nexus 2015 release is coming soon. The Nexus 9 discounts probably aimed to exhaust all remaining stocks and maximize profits before the arrival of this year's Nexus device.
Previous rumors state that Google is working on two Nexus smartphones codenamed Angler and Bullhead made by Huawei and LG, respectively. The tech giant reportedly plans to unveil two new smartphones that will cater to both high-end and mid-range market, while other sources claimed that Google will finally enter the phablet market with one of its devices. Android Police cited sources claiming that Google will release a high-end smartphone made by LG, while a low-end handset will be manufactured by Huawei.
According to rumors, Google Nexus 2015 will boast over 5 inch screen display, Snapdragon 808 or 820, 3 GB RAM, 16 MP back camera, and 3,500 mAh battery. The handsets will surely run with Android M operating system.
However, Google has not confirmed the release and details of the upcoming smartphone yet.
