The creators of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" recently confirmed that actress Tao Okamoto will be joining the cast.
According to Den of Geek, Okamoto will play the role of Lex Luthor's female assistant and bodyguard Mercy Graves III. Recently, a still photo of the actress from the set of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" was recently released online. In the photo, Okamoto's Mercy could be seen escorting General Zod's (Michael Shannon) body.
Aside from being Lex's female bodyguard and assistant, Mercy also embodies a range of different personas. Fans of the franchise and those who have seen "Superman: The Animated Series" would know that the character transforms herself into Vanilla. Additionally, just like Wonder Woman, Mercy is also an Amazon woman, according to Screen Rant.
In other news, three new photos from the film were recently released online. One of the photos featured Henry Cavill as Superman or the Man of Steel. In the snap, Cavill was photographed inside Wayne Manor.
Another photo teased Jesse Eisenberg's look as Lex. In the photo, Eisenberg could be seen wearing a white coat, shirt and jeans and is standing in front of Lex Corp Industries.
Lastly, the third photo featured Ben Affleck as Batman wearing his complete gear and armor. Beside him is the Bat signal, which will reportedly be an integral part of the movie.
As of late, individual photos of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jason Mamoa as Aquaman have also been released online.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is slated to hit theaters in the United States on March 25, 2016.
