Apple still has not confirmed iPhone 7 release date and its features but rumors claim it will be released in September. The tech giant is anticipating a big sale for the said launch similar to that of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which are ramping up their sales.
According to The Inquirer, Apple is expected to keep the same LTPS-based LCD panel display instead of venturing OLED screens. Also, iPhone 7 may have a scratch-proof sapphire display just like Apple's smartwatch. To make sure they have enough supply, Apple claimed that they already partnered with Foxconn to get the tough displays ready anytime.
The latest handset iOS feature was unveiled at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference to run on iOS9. This will bring great performance and usability enhancements such as battery saving mode and the feature called Proactive Siri, Apple's virtual assistant taking on Google Now and Cortana. These iOS9 cool features are now available for public beta testing.
The rumored iPhone 7 does not have much difference from the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on the physical look but it has a number of upgrades done on its specs and features. For iPhone 7, Force Touch is one of the major features. It was also confirmed that the production for the said feature is already ongoing, iDigitalTimes reported.
The iPhone 6 had sold 10 million units on its first week. This gave Apple a huge earning with a total of $8.5 billion in 2014. Reportedly getting really high pre-order sale for the iPhone 6s, Apple is expecting to have a bigger follow-up sale when iPhone 7 is released in September.
