Samsung has produced a large tablet and is now being shipped to India for final testing.
After evaluation, all seven units used for testing of the 18.4-inch tablets will be destroyed, Nowhereelse reported.
The immediate destruction of the tablets is to prevent leaks, GSM Arena reported. The tablet's screen size is deemed too large for typical tablet use. Previous reports have indicated that Samsung has already received negative feedback regarding its large tablets from numerous users.
Fans were quick to react on the alleged large tablet. One Samsung user reacted to GSM Arena's post and said that the leaked device is more likely to be called Samsung Galaxy 18.4 Note Pro, and will reportedly hit the market.
"According to the picture it has an S pen on the side. This mean the device could be named Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 18.4. It is similar to Wacom Cintiq productivity tablet that can be used by designer, engineer, architect and other professional jobs," the fan wrote.
In reply, GSM Arena said that although INR's price tag is more or less $507, which is cheaper than expected. The amount shown on the shipping list's leaked image is more likely to be the amount that Samsung has spent to manufacture each of the units.
Meanwhile, on Aug. 13, Samsung will be launching Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge through Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event to be held in New York. Both phablets have similar features like 4GB RAM, Super AMOLED 5.7-inch screen, and 7420 chip Exynos.
