Sony Xperia Z5 is set for release in September to go head to head with the upcoming releases of Galaxy Note 5 as well as Apple's iPhone 6S. Reports have revealed that the soon to be available Xperia Z5 is to have glass and metal case, 4GB RAM, and octa core chip.
The new Sony Xperia Z5 will have a display of 5.5 inches with 4K resolution, two best attributes that the predecessor. Also, it will have a 810 Snapdragon Qualcomm processor.
Qualcomm 810 Snapdragon will carry Adreno 430 GPU and octa-core CPU, Phone Arena shared. For the memory specifications, Xperia Z5 is said to have 3GB RAM alongside 32GB built-in storage. Further, a reversible type C USB will come with Sony Xperia Z5 release, powered by a 4500mAh battery, Techno Buffalo said.
Other purported Sony Xperia Z5 features include back camera 21MP RS Exmor IMX230-based CMOS that supports recording of 4K video and HDR, while rumors have been circulating that Xperia Z5 will have 30MP sensor also.
Since fingerprint scanner is becoming a regular attribute of flagship smartphones, the inclusion of this feature on Sony Xperia Z5 clearly shows the importance of this device to Sony's sales projection.
There still are neither reports nor rumors that point out to the Sony Xperia Z5 software features. However, there speculations that the most updated Android Lollipop will join the long list of extravagant features alongside Sony's usual overlay.
Sony Experia Z5 will be released in Japan first this September, but no news yet about its market price. However, if it will come similarly with Xperia Z3+ precursor, it could come SIM-free around $800.
