The latest "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 spoilers revealed that the premiere episode will focus on Sheldon (Jim Parsons) trying to understand women's behavior. When Amy (Mayim Bialik) decided to end their relationship, the physicist was confused as to what provoked her girlfriend to do such a thing.
According to the official synopsis for episode 1 titled "The Matrimony Momentum," Sheldon and Amy will once again get into an argument about the relationship agreement. Sheldon will reportedly force Amy into explaining what he did wrong.
Meanwhile, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) finally get married in the premiere episode. The couple also invited the whole gang to watch the ceremony via Skype. Amy was reportedly disappointed that she did not get invited to the actual wedding, adding that she is supposed to be Penny's bestie.
Howard (Simon Helberg), Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) try to console Amy but it only made Sheldon upset. He claimed that they are taking Amy's side in the fight.
In an interview with Kveller, Bialik confirmed that she would be returning to "The Big Bang Theory" season 9. Her character Amy and Sheldon may have broken up but that does not mean that fans will be seeing less of her in the coming episodes.
The actress described the premiere as a "very funny" episode. She shared that it many not answer all the viewers' questions in the finale but it would surely get a lot of laughs. She said that there would be a lot of group, as well as one-on-one scenes in the season opener.
