"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will feature Boruto, who will train with his father's friend and rival Sasuke Uchiha, so that he can warrant the attention of his father.
"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will be released in the theatres on Oct. 10. This movie can be thought of as an amalgamation of two movies together, according to iDigital Times. The first story revolves around Boruto and his father, Naruto, and the relationship they share. Naruto becomes Hokage and fulfills his childhood dream in the movie.
He also uses his clones to help him in completing all his chores on time. The technological advancement in the movie is shown as 15 years in advance than today. Everything is controlled through gadgets and computers. In the movie, Naruto is shown as a bad father. In spite of being a hard working person, he often neglects his family and sends his clones to attend to their affairs. And more often than not, he is shown to just send messages to Hinata.
Boruto is shown as teaming up with Sarada Uchiha, who is the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura. He also teams up with Mitsuki, who is filled with mysteries.
In the manga on which the movie is based on, the character of Mitsuki is described as being a boy of enigma and expression. Buroto wants to prove that he is stronger and that he deserves more attention from his dad. He gives a Ninja Qualifying exam as well to prove his worth, and sought the help of Sasuke for the same.
In the second part of the movie, the movie is more about servicing the fans. The powerful tandem of Sasuke and Naruto is brought to life and they are made to fight against a villain. The relation between Boruto and his father is given no closure even till the end of the movie, hinting that the anime movie will get a sequel.
Lionsgate is planning to make a live action Naruto movie and negotiations are on for the same, according to IGN.
