New details and spoilers for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" have been revealed regarding a new theory connecting to Robin and Joker as well as explanations on the Doomsday rumors.
Michael Shannon who played the Kryptonian villain, General Zod from "Man of Steel" has finally broke silence about the many rumors and theories regarding the fate of his character in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice".
Audiences who have watched the full trailer of "Batman V Superman: Dawn Justice" at the 2015 San Diego Comic-Con saw Zod's (Shannon) corpse being delivered to Lex Corp as Lex Luthor (Jessse Eisenberg) will likely experiment on him and tries to find out a weakness against Superman (Henry Cavill).
Shannon explained several things regarding his participation in "Batman V Superman" during an interview claiming he was not aware of being part of the project and felt "awkward" about the whole situation because he was in the trailer in the first place, Screenrant reported.
Shannon also cited Russell Crowe's role, Jor-El in "Man of Steal" were his character became a "ghost" figure during the film as the former "Boardwalk Empire" star did some voice-over stuff at the time, and he is unsure if he can talk about it.
It was not long ago that Shannon revealed some information regarding Zod's fate during his interview in the Vulture, saying that he felt weird having "flippers". This sparked an internet craze as many speculated that Zod might become Doomsday in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" film fighting Superman, Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot).
Shannon has dismissed these rumors, saying that the whole thing was a "complete bulls**t" story" and people believed it; However, Shanon did teased that the Doomsday character might possibly appear in future DC films.
In other news, a hidden plot for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been revealed that will likely established a new connection regarding Joker's role in the past events before and during the film.
The note that reads "You Let Your Family Die" and the vandalized Robin suit during the "Batman V Superman" trailer were the Joker's handy works. It was speculated that the Joker kidnapped and tortured Robin, turning him into a twisted version of himself similar to the Clown Prince of Crime, Moviepilot reported.
There have been two instances that a Robin was turned into a Joker; Tim Drake in the DC animated film "Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker" and Dick Grayson in the Mark Miller sequel "Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again".
"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be release in cinemas on March 25, 2016.
