The final preview version of Android Marshmallow is available for the current Nexus 9, Nexus 6 and Nexus 5 devices. The consumer version of Android Marshmallow is anticipated to come to devices from other manufacturers once Google is done with releasing the software to its Nexus handsets. Given below is the Android Marshmallow release news for LG G Flex 2, LG G Flex, LG G4, LG G3, LG G Pad II 10.1 and LG G Pad 10.1.
It is expected that the LG G Flex 2 will receive the Android Marshmallow update. The device is currently upgradable to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Rumors are doing the rounds that the LG G Flex may not get the Android Marshmallow update.
However, according to a Slash Gear report, LG G Flex will be upgraded to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The other LG devices that will possibly see an Android M update include LG G Pad 10.1, LG G4 and LG G3.
It is important to note that these devices will not be getting a vanilla version of the Android Marshmallow that is implemented for Nexus devices. The Android that will be coming to these LG devices is the company's own modified version of Android M. In addition, the list includes the LG G Pad 10.1, adding fuel to predictions that the LG G Pad II 10.1 tablet will get the Android Marshmallow update.
The forthcoming tablet will come with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS, Gizmodo reported. However, the tablet may jump straight to Android M before the end of this year. Recently, LG released tablets such as the LG G Pad X 8.2 and LG G Pad II 8; however, the upcoming LG G Pad II 10.1 is the only slate rumored to get the Marshmallow update.
