The Galaxy Note 5 was released by the tech giant Samsung in August. However, Amazon and Best Buy has decreased the price of the Galaxy Note 4 by $170. Now the question that comes to mind is that whether to purchase the Galaxy Note 4 or choose the Galaxy Note 5?
Consumer-electronics retailer Best Buy is selling the Galaxy Note 4 (32GB version) for $599, and Amazon is selling the device for $536.28.
Like the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, the Galaxy Note 4 features a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The Note 5 has 518ppi and the Note 4 has 515ppi.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded to 128GB via a microSD card slot, according to AndroidPit. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is available in 32GB/64GB internal storage with no microSD card slot. The Galaxy Note 5 has 4GB of RAM, while the Galaxy Note 4 has 3GB of RAM.
Both devices have a stylus - the S Pen, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 connectivity. Also, the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy Note 4 has a 16MP rear-facing camera. However, the Galaxy Note 5 has a 5MP front-facing camera, whereas the Galaxy Note 4 has 3.7-inch front-facing camera.
The Galaxy Note 5 has improved hardware compared to the Galaxy Note 4. However, buyers looking for a device with expandable memory who do not need top-end specs may be attracted to purchase the Note 4 at a reduced price.
