Adding to this summer's celeb's split spree, Jon Hamm, who is best known as Don Draper in AMC drama series "Mad Men," has ended his decade long relationship with his "Friends With Kids" co-star Jennifer Westfeldt.
The couple, who was together from past 18 years, released a joint statement to announce their split.
"With great sadness, we have decided to separate, after 18 years of love and shared history," the couple told People in an official statement before further adding that they will continue to be supportive of each other.
The exact reason for the breakdown of their relationship is not yet known, though, the couple was reported to be fighting a lot from the past few months, Us Weekly reported.
Hamm and Westfeldt were last seen publicly together on July 22 in New York at the premiere after-party for Netflix's "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp," where they appeared pretty much in love.
Earlier this year, the couple was hit with the rumor that the actress and the screenwriter had ended her decade long relationship with the 44-year-old actor owing to Hamm's 30-day rehab for alcoholism. The rumors were slammed by the couple's spokesperson at the time who claimed that the speculations are just not true.
The couple started dating in 1997. Although they never married and chose not to have any children, they were practically a couple and even owned several properties in Los Angeles and Upper West Side in New York.
The two had also appeared in Gap campaign advertisements and even founded their own production company, Points West Pictures.
