A superior phablet from Sony, Xperia Z5 could be released in March 2016 shipped with the latest Snapdragon 820 processor, 4K resolution display, a large battery, and a powerful 23MP camera.
While Sony just released its latest Xperia Z5 flagship, the Xperia Z5 Ultra is notably missing. Initially, it was believed that the Xperia Z5 Premium was in fact the speculated Xperia Z5 Ultra, but the latest rumors indicate that this could not be the case.
A China reliable source, @LeaksFly posted details on the upcoming Xperia Z5 Ultra. The source unveiled that the upcoming phablet will hit the market in 2016, and PricePony via Weibo further revealed expected specs of the gadget.
The Xperia Z5 Premium was the first smartphone to debut with a 4K resolution display, and the Xperia Z5 Ultra will follow the lead in addition to the huge 6.44-inch screen.
According to Tech Times, the Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra will come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip. The chipset differentiate the Z5 Ultra from the Z5 Premium since the latter runs on snapdragon 810.
Furthermore, the Xperia Z5 Ultra will sport a 4GB RAM and incorporate a similar cooling solution found on the Xperia Z5 Premium, utilizing thermal paste with two copper pipes linked to the SoC to avoid overheating.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra will also boast a larger and more powerful battery to run its huge display. As opposed to the Xperia Z5 Premium that sports a 3430mAh unit, the Z5 Ultra may get a 4000mAh battery.
However, all the information remains mere speculation since there is no official announcement from Sony concerning the anticipated Sony Xperia Z5 Ultra.
