John Stamos, who is popularly known as Uncle Jesse of "Full House," and will soon be seen in Fox's new show, "Grandfathered," desperately wants to have kids.
The actor recently revealed that playing a parent on-screen has made him more desperate to have a kid of his own.
"My ovaries are rattling. Do men have ovaries?" the actor joked while talking to Us Weekly about his new show.
It seems that the actor, who is surprisingly turned 52 last month, is playing himself in as his character is kind of middle-aged lady-killer, named Jimmy Martino, who is still leading a bachelor life amid a bee of beautiful women when he discovers suddenly that he has a son from one of his previous flings.
The plot will become more interesting when "Grandfathered" episode 1 will show that Martino's newly-found son has a baby girl. What follows will be a roller-coaster ride as the father-son duo will adjust with each other while trying to raise an infant together.
Stamos, who is also co-producing the show, disclosed that he was drawn to the show as he knew that he will be comfortable playing the character and wanted to "be back on TV with something that's smart and funny and has heart."
Stamos was recently in the news for getting arrested back in June for driving under the influence in Beverly Hills and was taken to a local hospital to be treated for an unknown medical condition after which he entered a rehab facility for 30 days which seems to be admittedly fruitful for the actor, E! News reported.
"Grandfathered" will premiere on Fox on Sept. 29 at 8 p.m.
