Jamie Alexander, the actress who is playing the mysterious amnesiac woman in NBC's new drama series "Blindspot," revealed that it took her almost seven hours to get ready for the shoot of pilot episode where she had to show off her nude body covered with head-to-toe tattoos.
The "Thor" actress, who is playing the role of the woman who has appeared mysteriously in a bag in Times Square, also revealed that she was actually told to fit in a duffel bag. Since the producers did not want to opt for a full body bag to keep up the shock value, the bag in which she was told to fit in was quite small.
"It was really small. We had to try to squish my body as much as I could to fit in the smallest bag because we didn't want a massive, massive body bag, it would be too obvious," the 31-year-old actress told MTV before further adding that the bag was fitted with a wire so that she can open the zip from inside.
The actress further declared that although the bag was small, she felt quite comfortable inside it since it was quite cold outside in Times Square at the time of shooting and she had to film without any covers.
The show, which premiered on Sept. 21, seemed to have one of the most explosive beginnings. Alexander was shown naked in most part of the episode as her body was being scanned and examined closely while she is equally baffled and is shown exploring her tattoos in the mirror with a look of utter terror at her inability to understand her situation.
Meanwhile, the actress declared that she had no problem using her body to portray her character, though, she still feels that pointless nudity is "ridiculous," The Hollywood Reporter reported.
