"Furious 8" star Michelle Rodriguez recently revealed how the entire cast of the "Furious" franchise are moving on from Paul Walker's death.
In an interview with E! News, the 37-year-old actress said that they are all having a hard time accepting that Walker is no longer with them.
"We need a good reason to move on from Paul. And being that this is a global franchise now, it's not just the American baby - it's important that we consider moving on and take it seriously," she said.
As of late, Rodriguez said that their biggest priority is to find a new director for "Furious 8."
"For us, as a cast, I think we need a reason, and it needs to have a heart, so hopefully we'll find it, you know? And somebody who's passionate about directing it - I think that's the most important thing is finding a good director," she said.
Meanwhile, Rodriguez also spoke with Entertainment Tonight where she hinted on the possible setting for "Furious 8."
According to her, the upcoming installment will be set in the Big Apple because New York City is the best setting for "Furious 8."
The actress also hinted on the possible appearance of the Hell's Angels.
"New York's just like a melting pot. There is so much to discover there. Motorcycle cruise, everything from the Hell's Angels home, you've got a lot to play with in New York," she said.
The production for "Furious 8" will begin in the next few months. The film is slated to hit theaters in the United States on Apr. 15, 2017.
