What happens when Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jimmy Fallon cover Rihanna's "B*** Better Have My Money" with the Barbershop Quartet? A surprisingly good and vintage rendition of a pop song!
Radio.com reported that the "Inception" actor dropped by at "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to perform Ri-Ri's hit song along with The Ragtime Gals.
Levitt and Fallon donned striped suits and cream colored hats to match the outfit of the barbershop quartet.
The concept of the barbershop quartet started in the 1900s and is composed of four singers with each member singing a different tune-lead, melody, tenor, and baritone.
According to Rolling Stone, Levitt tweeted about his guesting saying that he will sing this time instead of lip syncing.
The bubbly performance got the audience cheering and laughing. The 34-year-old actor also changed up some lyrics. Instead of saying "brand new foreign car" he opted to go green with "brand new electric car."
The Ragtime Gals has become a regular guest in Fallon's show and they have performed different songs with the host including "Sexy Back" with Justin Timberlake and "Roxanne" with Sting.
Meanwhile, Levitt brought the house down when he participated in the show's Lip Sync Battle segment back in 2013. The video has more than 50 million views to date.
In this clip, Levitt showcased his crooner side with his crisp voice harmonizing with Fallon and the barbershop quartet.
The actor is currently busy promoting his new highly-acclaimed movie "Walk" where he plays the role of Philippe Petit, a high-wire artist who crossed the north and south towers of the World Trade Center. This impossible feat was accomplished on August 7, 1974.
The "Walk" hits the big screen on September 30, 2015.
