"Scream Queens" season 1 star Whitney Meyer recently talked about her role on the FOX series.
On Tuesday night, fans enjoyed seeing Meyer in her role as Tiffany or Deaf Taylor Swift.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the actress revealed that she auditioned for the role by sending Ryan Murphy a video of herself singing Lorde's "Royals."
"My mom and I, we blocked the scene with the breakdowns that were sent to me. They saw my tape and apparently they loved it. I got an email and they wanted me to fly out for the shoot so I could play Tiffany. It was unexpected," she said.
The actress also revealed that Tiffany was supposed to be Lorde fan, and not a Taylor Swift fan. However, the series creator decided to change it.
"I was psyched. When I got the actual script I was like, 'Oh my God! I'm Taylor Swift now. I did like Taylor Swift before this. I wouldn't say I'm a freaky Swiftie, but I love her music," she gushed.
Unfortunately, Meyer's character was already killed off in the two-hour premiere episode of "Scream Queens" season 1.
Meanwhile, series co-creator Brad Falchuk talked about Meyer playing Deaf Taylor Swift.
"When we were shooting the pilot... and when we got to know the actress who played Deaf Taylor Swift, she was so funny that we got together and said, 'Is there a way we can not kill her and maybe kill someone else?'" Falchuk told The Hollywood Reporter.
"Scream Queens" season 1 airs Tuesdays on FOX.
