Game and tech developer CD Projekt RED is in the process releasing a new patch for the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" game. This patch is expected to bring many important changes to the open world role playing game.
The changes will include many performance enhancements for the Play Station 4 console according to Geek Snack. The changes for the Xbox One console are yet to be announced.
However, much to the disappointment of the fans the new patch will not release in September.
The game's expansion, "The Hearts of Stone", will be released after the patch update for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt." Marcin Momot, the community manager for CD Projekt RED recently confirmed that the new patch for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" will be live before the release of "The Heart of Stone."
He further added that the patch will fix the recurring issues which are related to the horse animations in the game play, according to The Witcher Official Forum. The patch will also fix the glitch which was recently discovered. This glitch is the one which enables the players to freeze the enemy when they use the Yrden sign. This will be disabled post upgrade.
The expansion of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", "The Heart of Stone," is expected to be released on Oct. 13. It will release for Xbox One, Play Station 4, and PC consoles. The patch will prepare the game for the launch of the expansion DLC.
It is being rumored that the game developing giant CD Projekt RED is going to sell itself to Electronics Arts. It seems to be a bit odd, keeping in mind the huge success of the games which CD Projekt RED developed.
However, CD Projekt RED is yet to comment on this topic.
