Samsung and LG have similarities. Aside from being both South Korean conglomerates, they are also both rumored to create their latest masterpieces, which are Samsung S7 and LG G5. Both are their respective next generation flagship smartphones.
LG G5 Rumored Specs
LG G5 will, most probably, have the more powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC, with a chance of a 4GB worth of RAM, GforGames reported. The LG smartphone will allegedly be having a 20 MP camera equipped with a custom 1/2-inch Sony sensor for great image stabilization and laser auto-focus. It will definitely have a microSD slot for storage expansion.
LG G5 rumors have also been indicating that it will have a 4K on the display. If it's true, the G5 will be with a 5.5-inch QHD display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Rumored Specs
Samsung S7 will also be sporting the same Snapdragon 820 SoC processor and base model will have 4GB of RAM, according to Gotta be Mobile. A smaller screen will be with Samsung, a 5.2-inch 2560 x 1440 QHD display.
Samsung S7 will also have an enhanced device Galaxy S7 Plus, which may be sporting a 5.8-inch 4K display with 6GB of RAM. Moreover, an ISOCELL 20 MP camera is said to be with the device as well as, a MicroSD slot to fit in one's music and video. The Galaxy S7 will arrive earlier, 2 months than planned, compared with LG's G5.
Quick Charge 3.0 Technology, thanks to the Snapdragon 820 SoC, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS - for both phones. But, only Galaxy S7 will have a fingerprint scanner. They are also scheduled for a release next year.
The verdict? Samsung Galaxy S7 Plus has the crown, for the meantime.
