Google Nexus 6P and iPhone 6S Plus are some of the most preferred high-end smartphone devices today. Since their launch, they have continually possessed market competitive specifications. However, when compared, the two vary and the Nexus 6P higly challenges the iPhone 6S Plus.

The Hawaiian-made Nexus 6P, is one of the latest smartphone to join the market that brings competition to iPhone 6S and it seems that it will be the flagship of the year for the Android fanatics. The Nexus comes with 6.27 by 3.06 by 0.28 inches in dimension while iPhone 6S comes at 6.23 by 3.07 by 0.29 inches.

Based on specifications, Nexus 6P and iPhone 6S represent the best display technology in the market. However, there exists a slight difference between them. Nexus 6P screen size is 5.7 inches and incorporates a fingerprint on the back while that of iPhone 6S Plus is 5.5 inches.

The Nexus Super AMOLED HD display goes with an impressive 515 ppi beating the iPhone's 1080P retina display with 401 ppi.

Regarding the performance of the phones, the Nexus 6P is powered by a QUALCOMM Snapdragon 810 Octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM while the iPhone is powered by Apple's A9 processor and 2GB of RAM, PC Magazine reported.

Still, the Nexus 6P challenges the iPhone 6S with a camera with 12.3 megapixels (0.3 megapixels more than iPhone). While they may be almost similar, Google states that Nexus 6P camera works better in low-light than that of iPhone. Again, Nexus 6P has a front camera with 8 megapixels while iPhone 6S Plus has a front camera with 5 megapixels, giving the Nexus an advantage.

In addition, Nexus 6P has a battery clocking in at 3450mAh while iPhone 6S's battery clocks in at 2915mAh. They both use different connectors; Nexus 6P uses the reversible USB type-Port while iPhone 6 Plus uses the Apple lightning connector, PC Advisor reported.

Clearly, from the features of both phones, the Nexus beats the iPhone in most qualities.

Meanwhile, Nexus 6P preorders began on Sept. 29 and it will offer the advantage of running on Google's Project Fi Mobile network while iPhone 6S Plus is currently available online and in apple stores.
