Apple vice president Jennifer Bailey said on Oct. 8 that Best Buy and Chili's will roll out Apple Pay support. According to Recode, Bailey announced the news during the Code/Mobile conference and said, "[KFC] has a special place in my heart - it was my first job ever. We're seeing a lot of support for quick-service restaurants with a need for fast payment."
Bailey added that Apple Pay will expand its service in order to support merchant loyalty and reward programs.
According to USA Today, more than 1,400 Best Buy outlets has already rolled out support for Apple Pay. On the other hand, Chili's and KFC will support the mobile payment system next spring.
