The 40-year-old rock star turns out to be a Swiftie as he expresses his admiration for the "Bad Blood" singer and released his cover of Swift's song "1989" last month.
Despite criticisms regarding Adams' rendition of the hit song, the rock star remarked on how it feels to sing one of Swift's compositions. Adams said that the songs he composes and sings make the star feel like he is in the film"Ghostbusters." Adams then adds that when he performs Swift's songs, it is like the actor shifted to singing Shakespearean works.
In addition, the 40-year-old also admitted that he first fell in love with Swift's song "White Horse."
According to Time, Adams reminisced when he listened to the song "White Horse" and said, "I remember feeling shocked by her voice, shocked at how clean that song was. I like stuff that sort of penetrates through my regular consciousness and hits me where I'm not looking."
While the American rock star already released 15 studio albums throughout his career, Adams appears to depreciate his talents and continues to place the 25-year-old country singer above himself by commenting on Swift being a genius and launching the cover album.
The rock star turned Swiftie continuously admires the "Wildest Dreams" singer and even emphasized that her skills surpass his own. Adams' compared himself to a mere satellite worker while Swift is like Neil Armstrong who travels to the moon.
Swift reportedly supported Adams' cover album while the rock star adds that the entire project was not just homage to the "1989" singer but the songs also expressed his feelings towards his divorce.
