"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor Ben Affleck has shared his insights on directing the untitled "Batman" film reboot.
Affleck is set to play the Dark Knight in Zack Snyder's forthcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." In his interview with Total Film (via Heroic Hollywood), Affleck said that the secret to directing any film was ensuring that it could be made great. In fact, Affleck mentioned that it would be important to have the correct idea as well as the correct take on it.
For Affleck, he had been open to helming the film and it was a very thrilling idea.
While fans had had a loud reaction on Affleck's casting as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, things could change when they saw Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," as per Cinema Blend. In fact, the actor is also set to appear in David Ayer's "Suicide Squad," which is then followed by the two-part "Justice League" films and the untitled "Batman" film reboot.
Meanwhile, Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" serves as the path to the rise of the superhero team Justice League. Aside from Affleck, the film also stars Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Jesse Eisenberg, and Amy Adams, among others.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be aired in two separate teasers on Oct. 26 while the film is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on Mar. 25, 2016. Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is set to hit theaters on Aug. 5, 2016 while the release date for Affleck's untitled "Batman" reboot is yet be revealed.
