After Director David Ayer released images of his Suicide Squad members, Empire has released a new photo of Killer Croc, along with three more photos.
The new photo of the humanoid reptile can be seen in Empire. In the photo, Croc is wearing his leather hoodie, which allows fans to only see his face. The other photos see Croc standing along with Harley Quinn holding her bat, the encounter between Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel and the Joker prior the former became Quinn, and a closer look at Enchantress.
Prior to the release of Croc's latest closer look, a photo of the villain surfaced online via tweet back in April. According to Cinema Blend, "Suicide Squad's" production team had chosen to use practical cosmetic effects, over CGI effects, to bring the cinematic Croc to life. The publication also mentioned that Croc adapted the grey-skinned and mutated appearance of the character from his previous appearances.
Adawale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is set to play Croc in Ayer's "Suicide Squad." In his interview with Empire, Akinnuoye-Agbaje described his reptilian character as a cannibal with rage issues. Aside from his scaly skin, which different from his fellow Suicide Squad members, it is assumed that Croc is the scariest of them all.
Along with Akinnuoye-Agbaje, "Suicide Squad" also stars Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Common, Scott Eastwood, Jay Hernandez, Adam Beach, Karen Fukuhara, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Will Smith, Margot Robbie, and Jared Leto, among others.
Ayer's "Suicide Squad" is set to premiere in theaters on Aug. 5, 2016. Watch the official "Suicide Squad" Comic-Con trailer here:
