The fact that the fans of "Grand Theft Auto V" are still buying to play this Rockstar Game is enough proof of its unwavering popularity despite the three long years of waiting before the developer creates the game's version for all consoles.
"Grand Theft Auto V" fans are also waiting for the coming release of "Grand Theft Auto VI" which the developers, according to some reports, have already formed concepts on how this next installation should look. Among these is the female protagonist.
When Rockstar Games co-founder Dan Houser revealed in a 2013 interview about the character of a female highlighting the game, he said at that time that they have not yet found which is the right game for it, The Guardian reported. The fans are now hoping that the "Grand Theft Auto 6" will be the chosen game for it.
The game's designers are rumored as well to have actually based the "GTA 6's" lead role after Ryan Gosling. A source revealed that the game's protagonist was created after the Hollywood actor who already agreed to play the character.
It is also reported that the game's setting would be the whole United States, although the fans would definitely expect a more global setting, Houser stated in an interview that they welcome the idea of having London as the story setting, but it is unlikely to become a title for "GTA."
"GTA" are still in the process of collecting ideas, and yet to discuss the final concept before they can start presenting the planning for "GTA 6," which unfortunately might take years.
"GTA 6" rumors are spreading that the game will arrive sometime in 2018. However, the Neurogadget site has speculated that the game's release date will still be in 2020. Concrete proof that the game's development has already begun is sadly lacking so fans should manage their expectations accordingly.
