Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) will be busy juggling motherhood and school in "Jane the Virgin" Season 2. However, Jane's relationship with baby Mateo's biological father Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and ex-fiancé Michael (Brett Dier) will add up to the already demanding responsibilities in Jane's life in "Jane the Virgin" Season 2, episode 4.
According to TVGuide's synopsis for the upcoming new episode of the CW TV series, Jane's struggle in balancing everything in her life will make her forget about planning a surprise birthday party for Lina (Diane Guerrero), her best friend and co-worker at the Marbella hotel. A conflict will brew between the two friends because of what happened.
The Monday episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2 will also have Jane conflicted about what she should do after kissing Rafael in the previous episode titled "Chapter Twenty-Five." In a promo video, Michael finds out that Jane and Rafael kissed through Petra (Yael Grobglas), Rafael's ex-wife.
In a TVOvermind report, the synopsis of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2, episode 4 teases that Petra will be asking Michael for his help in her plan of keeping Jane and Rafael apart. Elsewhere in the episode, Michael will have a new partner as well as a possible lead with his investigation on the Sin Rostro (Bridget Regan) case.
Meanwhile, Jane will not be only one having troubles in the next episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2. Luciana (Kate del Castillo), the ex-wife of Jane's dad Rogelio de la Vega (Jaime Camil), will be blackmailing the telenovela superstar with secrets from their past in order to get her role back in "The Passions of Santos."
Another sneak peek video for the new episode of the CW TV series teases on Rafael's new proposal. In the video clip, Rafael obviously wants to have a romantic relationship with Jane but she explains that everything is happening too soon.
Rafael understands that Jane is not yet ready to be in a relationship but the part of raising their child is not going well for Rafael so he tells Jane if they could talk about having a joint custody. Find out what Jane's response will be to Rafael's proposal in "Jane the Virgin" Season 2, episode 4 titled "Chapter Twenty-Six" on Monday night, Nov. 2, at 9/8c on the CW Network.
