Ryan Reynolds has worn his Deadpool suit for Halloween.
Reynolds tweeted a photo on his official Twitter account on Nov. 1. The image features him in his Deadpool attire, along with small children dress-up as X-Men characters Storm, Mystique, Beast, Wolverine, Cyclops, and Magneto.
With Reynolds' caption saying "Dear Fox, stop changing the timelines. It's confusing the audience. #xmenassemble #happyhalloween," Reynolds' tweet got more than 9,600 favorites and more than 5,400 re-tweets.
According to Cinema Blend, Reynolds' joke on the "X-Men" timelines was timely to some extent. With Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past" changing the timeline of the events in the film, he is now capable of restructuring the film's path, which may include a possible encounter between his X-Men and Reynolds' Deadpool.
Directed by Tim Miller, "Deadpool" is set to feature Colossus, among the mutants seen in the "X-Men" films. Andre Tricoteux will play the character in Miller's forthcoming film. In his previous interview with Tech Times, Tricoteux said that the production had maintained a traditional Colossus just like in the comic books and there was a lot more to be known about the mutant.
"Deadpool" features Wilson's origin story, as a former member of the Special Forces who became a subject in an experiment to become a superhero. Ryan Reynolds will play Deadpool, also known as the Merc with the Mouth. The film also stars Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, Brianna Hildebrand, Ed Skrein, and T.J. Miller, among others.
Miller's "Deadpool" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on Feb. 12, 2016 while the release date for "Deadpool 2" is yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" hits theaters on May 27, 2016.
