There are rumors that the devices of LG G series, namely LG G Flex 2, LG G Stylo, LG G4, and LG G3 may soon be updated with the latest Android Marshmallow upgrade.
According to GSM Arena, the South Korean tech giant also confirmed the highly speculated rumors that these devices are confirmed to recieve the latest operating system update.
Chris Ye, who heads the marketing communications at LG, in addition to being the vice president for the LG Mobile Communication Company, revealed earlier this week that LG G4 will be the first LG non-nexus device to get the Android Marshmallow update.
The update will be released in the form of an over the air update. LG is yet to confirm the date of release for the Android Marshmallow update for LG G4. The other devices LG G Flex 2, LG G Stylo, and LG G3 will follow suit once LG G4 gets this update.
It was earlier reported that LG G4 will be getting this update in Poland in the month of October. However, due to some unavoidable issues, the release date of the update is now postponed.
It seems that the tech giant is facing some major technical issues, forcing them to temporarily postponing the release date of this update. However, hopes are still high that the LG G series device will get this update before the end of this year.
After it is released in Poland, it will be released in Europe, Asia, and America. The other countries might get this update for LG G4 and other LG G series devices early next year.
Android Marshmallow update will enhance the user experience of the device, according to BGR.
