Vin Diesel was happily shared in a live social media feed that he will reprise the role of Groot in the upcoming "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2".
Groot played an immense role in the first film. The closing sequence of "Guardians of the Galaxy" showed Groot dancing. It added to one of several lighthearted film sequences and had discerning viewers wondering how the sequel will play out given such a mystery ending.
In his Facebook account, Diesel wrote that his son was thrilled about a particular script his dad recently received, which came packaged with the CD "Awesome Mix Vo. 2."
Diesel said that the script for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" was a "page turner" and raved about just how great James Gunn is as a writer. Diesel is one of those actors who always expressed his thankfulness for projects that came his way.
The "Fast and the Furious" series actor disclosed that music will once again play an integral role in the much-anticipated sequel, The Huffington Post reported.
