While loyal fans would "turn out" in their numbers, some had also expressed their excitement for the film, as per Movie Pilot. Twitter Samantha tweeted that she was so excited after watching the "Allegiant" trailer.

Robert Schwentke's "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" trailer has been released recently and it showed a world behind the fence in "Divergent" and "Insurgent." Aside from a brand new world, the trailer also showcased action-packed scenes, space-inspired transporters and weapons, and love-filled sequences following Beatrice "Tris" Prior, Tobias "Four" Eaton, and other survivors in the first two films.

The recent "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" trailer presents a new world, which was more dangerous than the world in the third film's predecessors, as per Stuff. According to the publication, it also raised the bar for the young adult franchise.

While Schwentke is set to helm "The Divergent Series: Allegiant (Part 1)," there is no information yet on the director of "The Divergent Series: Ascendant (Part 2)." Noah Oppenheim is on board to pen the screenplay while Lucy Fisher, Pouya Shahbazian, and Douglas Wick are in charge of the production of the film.

"Allegiant" is Lionsgate's film adaptation of the best-selling young adult novel of the same name, authored by Veronica Roth. It centers Tris and Four, as they go into the world outside of the fence. They are taken into reserved safekeeping by an enigmatic agency known as the Bureau of Genetic Welfare.

"The Divergent Series: Allegiant" stars Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Naomi Watts, Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Theo James as Four, and Shailene Woodley as Tris, among others.

Schwentke's "The Divergent Series: Allegiant (Part 1)" is slated to premiere in theaters on Mar. 18, 2016 while "The Divergent Series: Ascendant (Part 2)" is set to hit the big screen on Mar. 24, 2017.
