Known for playing Blair Waldorf in "Gossip Girl," Leighton Meester took a time off her acting career after giving birth to her first child with her husband Adam Brody on Aug. 4 at Whittier Hospital in Whittier, California. On Nov. 20, Friday, she took to Instagram to share her first photo months after giving birth.
"Rg girls' night-thanks for the group shot," Meester captioned the photo of her hanging out with five other ladies. One of them is "Dixieland" co-producer Gina Gamell. The other four are Meester's fellow actresses.
1. "CollegeHumor Originals" alum Davida Williams
After playing Jane in "CollegeHumor Originals" in 2013, Williams is set to star in the upcoming comedy film "Any Tom, Dick or Harry," which Hadley Klein directed and co-wrote with Carter Jenkins.
2. "Betas" alum Madeline Zima
Known for playing Jordan Alexis in "Betas," Zima is set to star in a yet to be titled 2016 action film by Livi Zheng.
3. "iZombie" star Aly Michalka
Aside from playing Peyton Charles in "iZombie" season 2, Michalka is set to star in the upcoming comedy film "Killing Winston Jones" with Danny Glover, Danny Masterson and Richard Dreyfuss.
4. "The Goldbergs" star AJ Michalka
Aside from playing Lainey Lewis in "The Goldbergs" season 3, AJ recently finished filming the upcoming action drama film "Dirty Lies," which will star Scout Taylor-Compton, Lili Simmons and Tania Raymonde.
On the other hand, Meester starred in the crime drama film "By the Gun" in 2014 opposite Ben Barnes. She is also set to star in "Any Tom, Dick or Harry" with Williams and is yet to be seen in public after giving birth to her daughter with Brody, according to Just Jared.
Meester managed to keep her pregnancy and the birth of her first child from the public. It was E! News that first revealed in September that the "Life Partners" co-stars became parents on Aug. 4.
