The "Ant-Man" Blu-Ray/DVD deleted scene may be related to the events in "Iron Man."
The exclusive deleted scene posted by Entertainment Weekly features Darren Cross as he has successfully crafted his adaptation of Hank Pym's size-changing technology and he was presenting it to his potential buyers. One of the buyers in the scene had a tattoo on his neck, which was reported to be a "10 Rings" tattoo.
According to Cinema Blend, the "10 Rings" was the group accountable for abducting Tony Stark in Jon Favreau's first "Iron Man" film. The organization was also reportedly run by The Mandarin and had been blamed for the turmoil and destruction in Shane Black's "Iron Man 3."
The involvement of the group in "Ant-Man" was unclear, but the 10 Rings could be rich by now if they bought Cross' innovation. The 10 Rings is not set to have a pivotal role in other upcoming films in Marvel's Cinematic Universe, so it is assumed that the group could appear once again in a future "Iron Man" film.
Meanwhile, Ant-Man and Iron Man are both set to appear in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's upcoming Marvel Comics film "Captain America: Civil War."
Iron Man's team reportedly includes Black Widow, War Machine, The Vision, and Black Panther. Their team is set to clash with Captain America's team, which includes Hawkeye, Falcon, Agent 13, and Ant-Man. Spider-Man is known to appear in "Captain America: Civil War," but his side is yet to be revealed.
Also, Paul Rudd is set to return as Ant-Man in Peyton Reed's "Ant-Man and the Wasp," along with Evangeline Lilly as the Wasp.
The Russos' "Captain America: Civil War" is set to premiere on May 6, 2016 while Reed's "Ant-Man and the Wasp" hits theaters on July 6, 2018. The "Ant-Man"e deleted scene joins the forthcoming "Ant-Man" Blu-Ray release on Dec. 8. Watch it here:
