In a few days' time, fans can start playing "Just Cause 3." Developer Avalanche Studios has already revealed a couple of information about the upcoming title.
The newest leaks this time involves the world's map, which seems to be quite the expansive world. Players may be looking to explore 400 square miles in the "Just Cause 3" world. A stitched screenshot by Gearnuke shows the approximate locations and the sheer size of the world.
From the looks of it, there are 29 areas in the map. The map looks like it has one big continent, three fairly medium-sized islands and a group of islands that have seven distinguishable areas.
Based on size, "Just Cause 3" is roughly the same as its predecessor. However, the developer appears to have expanded the terrain. This will make better use of the added grappling hook and wingsuit.
"Just Cause 3" is known to require 37GB of space on the PS4 following the leaked early copies to some fans. Avalanche Studios has also recently released a dev diary video, seen below, where the developer talks about the engine that was used to power the game. The dev diary talks about the use of the upgraded Havok technology that helped in improving the degree of destruction that can be executed in "Just Cause 3."
To prepare fans for its upcoming launch, the developer has already released the official specs for PC to play "Just Cause 3" over at the official Steam page. The minimum requirements for "Just Cause 3" are a 64-bit Windows 7, Vista SP2 or Windows 8.1 OS, either an Intel Core i5-2500K, 3.3 GHz or an AMD Phenom II X6 1075T 3.0 GHz CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 or AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB graphics card and a 6GB RAM.
Recommended specs require higher processors Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz, 8GB RAM and either the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (3GB) or AMD R9 290 (4GB) graphics card.
