"Fallout 4" is currently enjoying fairly positive reception from fans, especially with the introduction of mods that make overall gameplay better. Proof of the popularity of Bethesda's newest title is the way it has seeped into merchandise via the Bethesda Store and even other games.
Bethesda's online store is teeming with new products, the latest find of which is a pair of blue and yellow-colored sneakers in the same shade and style as the Vault-Tec wear. Dubbed as the Vault 111 sneaker from Tweak Footwear, it is only available via the Bethesda Store. The Vault 111 sneaker is available for both men and women, and according to the Bethesda Store page, it is made of high-quality blue suede leather with soft cushion, lightweight make and EVA sockliner for durability and good fit.
Apparel choices are not lacking in the "Fallout 4" department. From "Fallout 4" logo and blue Vault-Tec shirts to varsity jackets and cardigans, the signature blue and yellow of Vault Boy has plenty to go around. There are even a couple of Vault Boy bobbleheads featuring different props, poses and weapons.
In the games department, "Fallout 4" has also inspired a new skin for band members in Harmonix's "Rock Band 4," Polygon reported. The DLC, which can be obtained free of charge, allows band members to wear vault suits as they rock onstage. The outfits come complete with themed caps, gas masks and a glowing Pip-Boy. The report also added that the Pip-Boy is music-reactive, so the effect is complete.
The added content is basically cosmetic for the most part. But it is a new way to infuse the "Fallout 4" experience beyond the role-playing game. It may even be a good break from playing Bethesda's new title without fully breaking away from the "Fallout" franchise.
The "Fallout 4" skin DLC for "Rock Band 4" will be available on Dec. 8. It will be available for the PS4 and Xbox One versions.
