Many Nexus devices have received the Android Marshmallow update. However, it appears that the Nexus 6 handsets that are connected to T-Mobile devices have not got the over-the-air update yet. According to latest reports, the mobile carrier T-Mobile will release the over-the-air update for Moto G (2nd generation) and Google Nexus 6 pretty soon.
The last phase of the Android Marshmallow soak test for Moto G second generation is about to finish and it will be released for the public soon.
Des Smith of T-Mobile said that the Android 6.0 M version MRA58X will be released for the Google Nexus 6 handset after it will get approved, Tech Times reported. Several reports suggest that the Android Marshmallow update for Nexus 6 will support Wi-Fi calling and LTE Band 12.
Furthermore, T-Mobile's Moto X Pure Edition (2015) will get the Android Marshmallow update pretty soon. Earlier reports suggested that the Moto X Pure Edition (2015) will get the Android Marshmallow update in Q1 2016. However, according to new reports, the handset will receive the newest update this month. The electronics company Motorola has not confirmed this information.
The Moto X Pure Edition (2015) will require to pass a soak test before it will be released. It means that it will take some time till the handset will be updated to the Android Marshmallow.
Android Marshmallow brings with it many new improvements and features. Chrome Custom Tabs, Google Now On Tap, Fingerprint support, Android Pay, App permissions and Customizable toggles are some of the features of Android M, according to The Verge.
